Júlia Rázusová

Theatre Director working with theatres across Slovakia and the Czech Republic. She is a co-founder of the independent theatre collective Slzy Janka Borodáča in Prešov. At the Slovak National Theatre, she is currently directing Rhinoceros, a timeless exploration of the mechanisms of totalitarian society.

Her work also brings challenging and often uncomfortable topics to the stage, including nationalism, populism, and ethical and moral dilemmas. She is a three-time recipient of the DOSKY Theatre Award for Best Direction. Most recently, she received the award for her production Outcast, based on the memoirs of Stefan Zweig. When accepting the award, she dedicated it to women creators.
