Peter Konečný

Film critic, presenter, author and advocate for film culture. He is a co-founder and PR manager of the Cinematik International Film Festival and a member of its programming team. He founded and runs the film website Kinema.sk and hosts the film podcast Vertigo. He studied film studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU).

He has a long-standing collaboration with Slovak Radio, where he helps produce and host film programmes. He also organises and hosts Filmové večery Petra Konečného (Peter Konečný’s Film Nights) and promotes film and media literacy among secondary school and university students through the Svet médií (World of Media) project.
